Unity does not require membership to participate in any of our worship, education, and activities, but all are encouraged to consider officially joining our congregation. Members have voting rights at our Annual Meeting, and becoming a member is a wonderful way to show your committment to our faith community.
Membership classes are offered periodically throughout the year, although you can certainly meet with Rev. Festus at any time to discuss membership.
If there is not currently a membership class scheduled, please let us know you are interested in one. We will coordinate a class between our regularly scheduled classes if there is enough interest. In the meantime, we strongly encourage you to consider taking a SEE class to learn more about Unity.
2012 Membership Classes:
Each year, we offer a late-winter/early spring class, and a fall class. The classes are typically 3 sessions and end with a shared meal, enjoyed with members of the church, to welcome you into our family.
UPCOMING CLASS:
Winter, 2012 dates: This session has not yet been scheduled, but will start in February. Please let us know if we can call you when the dates are set.
Wednesday evening sessions are 7:00-9:00PM. Saturday session is 9:00AM - Noon, ending with a Fellowship Luncheon with members of the church to welcome you. Formal acceptance into the congregation will be Sunday at the 10:00 service.
Join with others to learn more about Unity and about Unity South. Learn how you can become involved in our community and meet current active members who will assist during parts of the orientation. Then, on a following Sunday, at the 10:00 worship service, new members will be officially received and welcomed into the congregation.

Transferring your membership
If you have been a member of another Unity congregation, we welcome you to transfer your membership to Unity South. Complete the standard Membership Form, simply adding the name of the congregation you are transferring from, and the date you joined that congregation if you know it (approximate dates are fine.) We will then contact you about officially recognizing your new membership at Unity South.
When you are ready to join or transfer, please download a Membership Form (also found in the Atrium at church) and return it to the church office.
