Unity South’s Caring Ministry helps us connect and support one another in times of joy and times of sorrow, as well as through life changes and challenges.
Unity South’s Caring Ministry develops and oversees many types of care, including prayer loops, prayer letters, inspirational line, comfort shawls and Prayer Chaplains.
Unity South is a loving spiritual community where we care for one another. We provide support to congregants, families and friends through our prayer loops, prayer box, and our Tuesday Thirty-Minute Prayer Service held in conjunction with Silent Unity. Our inspirational line is available 24 hours a day to provide uplifting messages. And we connect with our members thought our prayer letters.
Comfort shawls are provided to keep congregants connected to Unity South during challenges, illness and loss. Please let the office know, if you know someone who could benefit from a comfort shawl.
Prayer Chaplains are volunteers who have completed training for their role of affirming God’s presence through prayer, connecting and strengthening the community. Our Chaplains pray with Congregants on Sunday mornings, as requested. They offer spiritual support for individuals’ faith journey.
